1657年、江戸大火で犠牲となった人々を供養するために建てられたお寺です。火災・地震・戦災などで亡くなった方々を弔い、「無縁仏」の供養も行われてきました。派手さはありませんが、心が静まる“癒しの時間”がここにはあります。
